MAULE READY FOR SAPITWA BONANZA

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets first assistant coach Gilbert Chirwa expressed his satisfaction that his team is ready for Sapitwa top 4 Bonanza happening at Mulanje Park Stadium on 22 - 23 of March.


Gilbert Chirwa said this on media briefing before his team's travel to Mulanje, Chirwa said " this is very very important tournament  as it serve as platform where coaches can assess their players for the upcoming season".

Nyasa Big Bullets Fc game will be played as a second game of the tournament as Ekhaya Fc and Mighty Tigers game will be played first starting from 12 : 30 pm at Mulanje Park Stadium.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets newly appointed coach Peter Mponda has named his backroom staff. Mponda has named Gilbert Chirwa as his first assistant coach, Fischer Kondowe as second assistant coach. Meanwhile, Victor Mphande has been appointed as goal keeper's trainer, Noel Kaole as fitness trainer,Zicco Mkanda as striker's trainer, Chimwemwe Nkhoma as physiotherapist and Enerst Vitto as security officer. And some of the old faces in the backroom staff are :Felix Mwalule as team doctor, James Chilapondwa as Team Manager ,Malumbo Chikoko as equipment manager and Chisomo Chikwembani as Welfare Manager. Speaking to us, coach Peter Mponda said the new names in the backroom staff will add experience and expertise. The changes comes as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets parted ways with Zimbabwean tactician  Kalisto Pasuwa after the expiry of his contract. MZUZU CITY HAMMERS BRINGS YOUNG BLOOD GAFFER

Mzuzu City Hammers has appointed Steve Nkwinika as club's new head coach. This development comes after Hammers recently parted ways with their former coach Kondwa Ikwanga who guided the team to Castel cup final of just ended season. Nkwinika will have alot of work to do as Hammers finished in the top 4 of just ended season. Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers former players have organised a two nation derby tournament slated to take place on  1 and 2 march. This tournament format we shall witness two derbies as Blantyre rivals Maule and Manoma will go head to head in a mouth watering matches and also the Zimbabwean counter parts they will also play their own Harare derby. Speaking to ex-bullets players who were also present at a meeting Raheem Ishumael "when we were starting this committee many people labelled it as a failure but we are now able to organise matches and we fit and ready for the tournaments but we just call help from sponsors and well wishers". This development keeps on improving as we witnessed another Blantyre derby last year before TNM super league started.
