EKHAYA PROVES THE DOUBTERS WRONG WITH VICTORY AGAINST TIGERS

Ekhaya Fc who are taking part in Sapitwa 4 Bonanza stunned Mighty Tigers at Mulanje Park Stadium in a match that ended 2 - 1.


The Cow boys started the match highly as they scored on first minute of first half through Silver Strikers Fc loaner Christopher Gototo and Mighty Tigers reacted by forming counter attacks but it yielded no goal and first half ended 1 - 0 in favour of Ekhaya Fc.

In the second half Ekhaya Fc played a passing game and Mighty Tigers continued biting Cow boys on counter attacks but on 60 minutes, Ekhaya Fc scored the second goal through Luke Mbeta, as people were expecting the match to end 2 - 0, Mighty Tigers reacted with a goal on 80 minutes.

And Ekhaya Fc defended well as Mighty Tigers were coming wave after wave and the match ended 2 - 1 in favour of Ekhaya Fc.

Enos Chatama, Ekhaya Fc coach said " he is not satisfied with the performance as this games are just training matches so I will keep on encouraging and improving the squad".

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets newly appointed coach Peter Mponda has named his backroom staff. Mponda has named Gilbert Chirwa as his first assistant coach, Fischer Kondowe as second assistant coach. Meanwhile, Victor Mphande has been appointed as goal keeper's trainer, Noel Kaole as fitness trainer,Zicco Mkanda as striker's trainer, Chimwemwe Nkhoma as physiotherapist and Enerst Vitto as security officer. Mzuzu City Hammers has appointed Steve Nkwinika as club's new head coach. This development comes after Hammers recently parted ways with their former coach Kondwa Ikwanga who guided the team to Castel cup final of just ended season. Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers former players have organised a two nation derby tournament slated to take place on  1 and 2 march. This tournament format we shall witness two derbies as Blantyre rivals Maule and Manoma will go head to head in a mouth watering matches and also the Zimbabwean counter parts they will also play their own Harare derby. Speaking to ex-bullets players who were also present at a meeting Raheem Ishumael "when we were starting this committee many people labelled it as a failure but we are now able to organise matches and we fit and ready for the tournaments but we just call help from sponsors and well wishers". This development keeps on improving as we witnessed another Blantyre derby last year before TNM super league started.
