BRIGHTON FORCED A DRAW AT ETIHAD

Brighton and Hove Albion Fc came from behind to force a draw against reigning champions Manchester City Fc in a 2 all draw at the Etihad stadium.


Citizen's started on a high not as they pressed hard to find an early lead and it payed off on 19th minutes after referee saw a foul from 18 yard box and Erling Halaand converted to give City the deserved lead.

And on 23rd minutes Brighton equalised through a set piece and a goal came from their versatile defender Estupinan, and Man City reacted quickly before going to half time break through Marmoush.


Coming in second half, the match turn to be very tense as both teams missed alot of clear chances and on 80th minutes, Brighton equalised through Man City defence error to seal a draw.

Brighton and Hove Albion Fc coach Hurzeler  said" in second half we had several big big chances but we failed to score and am happy with the performance and we need to be happy with results...."


And Pep Guardiora after the match said " when every a coach select his first 11, he expect the team to win it's just unfortunate...."

Man City will continue fighting for their spot in top 4 after the international break.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets newly appointed coach Peter Mponda has named his backroom staff. Mponda has named Gilbert Chirwa as his first assistant coach, Fischer Kondowe as second assistant coach. MZUZU CITY HAMMERS BRINGS YOUNG BLOOD GAFFER

Mzuzu City Hammers has appointed Steve Nkwinika as club's new head coach. This development comes after Hammers recently parted ways with their former coach Kondwa Ikwanga who guided the team to Castel cup final of just ended season. Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers former players have organised a two nation derby tournament slated to take place on  1 and 2 march. This tournament format we shall witness two derbies as Blantyre rivals Maule and Manoma will go head to head in a mouth watering matches and also the Zimbabwean counter parts they will also play their own Harare derby. Speaking to ex-bullets players who were also present at a meeting Raheem Ishumael "when we were starting this committee many people labelled it as a failure but we are now able to organise matches and we fit and ready for the tournaments but we just call help from sponsors and well wishers". This development keeps on improving as we witnessed another Blantyre derby last year before TNM super league started. And the chairperson of the committee Kelvin Moyo said the main aim is to provide assistance to former players, "many former players face financial and health challenges after retirement, and we want to support them...
